Resident Evil: Retribution: Soundtrack Info

On Sept. 11, Milan Records will release “Resident Evil: Retribution – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” digitally and in stores. Milan Records previously released the soundtrack of Resident Evil: Afterlife, which grossed over $300 million worldwide.

The album begins with the exclusive end-credit song, “Hexes,” by heavyweight dubstep artist Bassnectar with vocals by Chino Moreno. The dark and energetic song is the best accompaniment to tomanandy’s heart-pumping, industrial and unique score. The producing duo brought in a full orchestra, crafting an epic dimension to their deep and twisted musical creations.

Resident Evil: Retribution – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” also reveals a new rising talent in the dubstep scene in the person of T-Mass, a young producer out of Santa Cruz who concludes the album with a high energy dubstep remix of the main title theme, “Flying Through The Air.” An exclusive I-Tunes version also includes two unreleased tracks by tomandandy.

Milan Records is releasing the soundtrack album as a physical digipak and as a digital download on all major platforms.

The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

Resident Evil: Retribution will be released in the US on Sept. 14 via Screen Gems in 3D and IMAX on over 2000 screens. Sony Pictures Releasing International will begin the film’s international rollout on Sept. 12, with Constantin Film opening in Germany on Sept. 20, and Metropolitan Filmexport releasing in France on Sept. 26.
