‘The A-Team’ Cast Is Just About Complete

Last week, we told you that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson had been cast as Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus. Now, it looks like the team has its “Howling Mad” Murdock.

Several big name actors were rumored for the part, but, in the end, it looks like Sharlto Copley will walk away with the role.

Copley, who made his mark earlier this year in “District 9,” and Jackson join Bradley Cooper, who will play Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, and Liam Neeson, who will portray Col. John “Hannibal” Smith.

The Hollywood Reporter also is reporting that another role is close to being cast — and this time the actor’s name is one that is familiar to most moviegoers. Reportedly, Jessica Biel is being lined up to play “the former love of Faceman, an Army general who is now pursuing the team.”

“The A-Team” — currently slated to hit theaters June 11, 2010 — is being directed by Joe Carnahan. According to IMDb, the movie’s plot is as follows: A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

It is going to be hard to beat the original cast of offbeat characters but I hope they pull it off.
