Heat Vision has reported that the following actresses are up for screen tests for two female lead roles in the upcoming Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises”: Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Kate Mara, Charlotte Riley and Gemma Arterton.
These actresses are now said to be scheduled for screen tests for the roles of a love interest and a female villain. According to a source of Heat Vision, one role is rumored to be Talia al Ghul, daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul (who was played by Liam Neeson in “Batman Begins”). At the same time, Collider revealed that a source had contacted them regarding the female roles and also some other information about the movie. Their source believes that the female roles are Vicky Vale (love interest of Bruce Wayne, previously played by Kim Basinger in Tim Burton’s “Batman”) and Talia al Ghul, as well.
Another thing that this source revealed to Collider was about the leaked script floating around the web. As expected, it’s a fake and the real script is expected to be given to the cast members next week.
The start of production also was something the source informed them about. Reportedly, principal photography is scheduled to start May 6 and post-production on Nov. 28. Nolan is aiming for a July 20, 2012, release.
A second source for Collider told the site a very interesting thing about the movie and this is what Collider reported:
-
Our source “Raphael” tells us that the new Batmobile (aka The Tumbler) has been redesigned as a sleeker version, but still powerful and with all the gadgets. As for the Batcave, it will be the same cave we saw in ‘Batman Begins’ and they’re attempting to keep the classic stuff like the circular bay for the Batmobile, but keep the look modern. They’re also setting up the Batcomputer and storage for the Batsuits. And if there’s a new Batmobile and a new Batcave, is it possible we’ll be getting a new Batsuit in ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
Since it’s the final Batman film that Nolan is making, hopefully, these rumors are true. Regarding the female roles, I wouldn’t be surprised if Talia al Ghul is the female villain, as she is one of the most realistic female villains in the DC Universe. When it comes to the love interest, it’s either Vicky Vale or a new character created by Nolan.
“The Dark Knight Rises” is set for production this year. In the meantime, do you think the rumors from “Raphael” are true? Are Talia al Ghul and Vicky Vale the two female roles being screen-tested?

I’d like to see Anne Hathaway get one of the roles.
Any of the first three actresses are fine by me =)As for the two possible roles, I do believe that the rumors are somewhat true. I guess we’ll find out soon enough =)
I would be happy with any of them landing what ever the two roles are.
