Trailer Talk: ‘Green Zone’

— by ALEXA MILAN —

Rumor has it a fourth installment in the Jason Bourne series will hit screens in a couple of years, but until then fans can see Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass reteam in the action thriller “Green Zone.”

Damon plays Roy Miller, a U.S. Army officer searching for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. But in his search for justice, Miller discovers faulty intelligence an elaborate cover-up, and he isn’t sure if he can trust anyone on either side. As the country grows more and more unstable, Roy goes rogue, determined to find the truth with the help of an investigative reporter (Amy Ryan).

After directing “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum,” Greengrass clearly knows how to helm a complex action flick. The story sounds intelligent and intriguing, and Jason Isaacs, Brendan Gleeson and Greg Kinnear round out the talented cast.

“Green Zone” opens March 12.

I for one am looking forward to this movie! huge Bourne fan! and by the looks of it, there is another good action franchise on the way!

I’m looking forward to this flick. Iraq War films haven’t been that great, too cerebral, trying to answer big questions. This looks like it will have brains and still bust blocks.

This looks really cool. Let’s see how it matches up to “The Hurt Locker” – the high-bar thus far in regards to Iraq War films.

I’m most excited for Kinnear. He’s always great.
