Do you like boxing movies? How about robot movies? Well, it looks like “Real Steel” is a great combination of both.
Once a boxing champion, Charlie Kenton (played by Hugh Jackman) has been replaced by boxing robots. As the sport progresses, Charlie becomes a small-time promoter. When he seems to be at the end of his rope, he pieces together a robot with his estranged son, Mac (Dakota Goyo), and soon discovers that his rebooted robot not only gives him a shot at the big time but a second chance with his son.
With a combined team of director Shawn Levy (who helmed both “Night At The Museum” movies) and the writing team of John Gatins, Dan Gilroy and Jeremy Leven, “Real Steel” looks to be a great action, special effects film with a good story line to boot.
“Real Steel” also stars Anthony Mackie, Evangeline Lilly, Hope Davis and Kevin Durand and opens Oct. 7.

This looks absolutely hilarious. Unintentionally, of course.
I think this new trailer reveals a whole new side to Real Steel that we didn’t get to see in the teaser. I think it is looking to be a very unique and interesting movie!
I don’t really know what to say about this movie because it’s just kinda weird.
“Unique and interesting”? It’s a lazy mash-up of Rocky, Over the Top and Transformers. This movie couldn’t try any less.
