This time around, Tyler Perry and the gang are gathered together in the Bahamas for their annual one-week reunion. Four close couples aim to rekindle the romance while sharing news about their lives and relationships. Their week is rudely disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Sheila’s (Jill Scott) ex-husband, Mike (Richard T. Jones), who hopes to break up her new marriage with Troy (Lamman Rucker) and win her back. Dianne (Sharon Leal) and Terry’s (Tyler Perry) relationship is also feeling the strain of raising children.
Janet Jackson also stars as Patricia, a successful self-help psychologist, who must finally reveal the deep flaws in her seemingly perfect marriage to Gavin (Malik Yoba). The trailer shows a good deal of Janet, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fairly respectable acting job.
This movie reunites the same compelling cast and characters from his hit comedy/drama “Why Did I Get Married.” From what I’ve seen in the trailer, it looks like a pretty decent movie for the most part. I am not even sure on how many movies Tyler Perry has made and that’s saying something — people aren’t getting sick of his films.

This plot sounds kind of like “Couples Retreat”
Agreed, sounds a lot like “Couples Retreat.” Hopefully “Why Did I Get Married Too” will be better than that movie though.
