For a few years now, zombies have inexplicably been a pretty hot genre.
As you can guess from the first paragraph, it’s not a subject that interests me much. However, I do have to say that the new trailer for “Zombieland” shows a lot of promise.
The movie’s plot is as follows: After America is ravaged by a zombie plague, a lone band of survivors fights the living dead while they cross the nation from coast to coast. They stop in an amusement park, where they believe they will be safe.
The movie looks entertaining and it appears to be rife with possible catchphrases. The cast is fairly solid as well, toplined by Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, Emma Stone and Amber Heard. There also is a rumored cameo appearance by Bill Murray as one of the zombies.

This just sounds like a movie that has already been done. Well if they believe they will be safe somewhere you know right away that they won’t be, safe that is.
Very cool.

UPDATE: I talked to some people and the Bill Murray cameo is not a rumor. And it’s supposed to be “awesome.”
