With summer sneaking up right around the corner, the major studios are gearing up to start promoting their movies even more on television. So we have two new short television spots to show you today from Marvel’s upcoming “Thor.”
There has already been a Super Bowl ad, a trailer and many teaser clips, but in these two new ones we are seeing some of the same footage as well as some highly-anticipated glimpses at something new.
In this first clip we have a lot more shots of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in battle with his full costume on, as well as him speaking of flying and then a shot of him flying through a cyclone. I believe this is to fool us into thinking that he is flying in this shot, when he is actually falling. What do you think?
In this second short spot, things to notice are Thor’s attitude when it comes to fighting; they are finally showing his cocky side and the pride that was his downfall. Another thing we get in this is finally a (very brief) look at Loki (Tom Hiddleston) fighting, and not only fighting but using some magic in his attacks. Did you catch it the first time you saw it? I am beyond excited for this film and even more so now that they are giving us little peaks here and there with new scenes.
