From the producers of “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz,” “Attack the Block” follows a gang of tough inner-city kids who try to defend their turf against an invasion of savage alien creatures, turning a South London apartment complex into an extraterrestrial war zone.

“Attack the Block” opened in theaters on July 29 in the following seven markets: Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, and Toronto. On Aug. 19, the film will expand to six additional markets: Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington, D.C. and a sixth market that will be chosen by the fans.
