I like Jason Lee.
(Editor’s note: I was in a charitable mood, so I decided to write only positive things about this trailer. That was as far as I could get. I didn’t see the first “Alvin and the Chipmunks” movie. I didn’t want to see it. Obviously, I won’t see this one. Maybe you will. Maybe you even liked the first one. That’s cool. I wouldn’t begrudge anyone a good time. But when I see movies like this get a sequel while “Superman” is in some kind of limbo, it makes me sad. Oh, and remember when Jason Lee was going to play Fletch? That could have been cool. But now he’s reduced to this? That’s kind of sad, too. And there are other people you like who are involved in this movie. David Cross. Anna Faris. Justin Long. Zachari Levi. Amy Poehler. Christina Applegate. Wendie Malick. I didn’t realize this trailer was so depressing …)
OK, well, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” will be released on Dec. 25. Merry Christmas. Consider this trailer an early gift.

A horrible trailer, but a funny story. 🙂
Haha. You got me! I was wondering what was going on when I just read one line on the front page.
Only one person could ever fittingly attach a “Superman” tag to an Alvin and co. trailer. I’m taking notes.
The first one was a nice family movie, this one looks like a direct-to-dvd sequel. Lance Dowds (Clerks II) is better than this.
Uh, the name is fun to say at least. I have to say I didn’t see the first one either and won’t see this one even with all of those people I like being involved.
I bet this story is way funnier than the movie.
Man, that movie looks bad.
That’s funny! (the story, not the trailer)
I like Jason Lee, too. 😉
